Pillars of the Project

This Project will have five pillars on which it is build.

  • PRAYER AND FASTING

The Foundation of the project is unified Christians spending time in prayer and fasting by preparing our country spiritually for this event.  This prayer time can differ from individuals in private time, prayer groups, intercession events and churches praying corporately during worship time in Sunday services.

  • PRAYER CONCERTS

The week leading up to the opening ceremony of the world cup it will be important to host 2-4 large prayer concerts.  These prayer concerts should be in a central place for logistical efficiency.  These concerts will be times of ultimate worship combined with prayer and some prophetic Word ministry.  This will be done in order to prepare the missionaries for the outreach, but also bless the Christian community.

Furthermore the night before the World Cup Final all the delegates will again gather in one central place for a great thanksgiving celebration and testimony event.

  • TEAM PREPARATION

During the same week before the opening ceremony the missionaries will have to be placed within teams and linked with their respective hosts from the different host cities.  They will also have to work on their planned programs of outreach, and practice different forms of art and outreach methods.

For logistical reasons it will be best to have these Prayer Concerts and Team preparation all in one city.  Read more

  • OUTREACH AND RENEWAL

In each of the 10 World Cup host cities as well as other interested towns, a group must be formed of churches, organizations and individuals that want to work together on this event.

These groups have to plan the different outreach events, methods and programs that will be used during the time of the World Cup.  During the World Cup they will get a group of +/- 50 missionaries that will work with them in these planned outreach programs.  These Host Cities will have to accommodate this 50 people over the period of the world cup and provide food and transport to these people.  Some of the missionaries can be local people but a large portion will be from other nationalities and countries.

  • FOLLOW UP AND DISCIPLING

A Database of all people coming to salvation in Christ will be drawn up.  This database will be organized after the world cup, and the information of each individual will be sent to participating churches and organizations in different countries of the world.  These new Christians will then be contacted and discipled.
